WHO WE SUPPORT
The Marin County Free Library system (MCFL) is an innovative, entrepreneurial and dynamic civic institution that is committed to providing exceptional services to a community that cares deeply about its library. This support encourages the library to assume a critical role in making the community strong, equitable, resilient and progressive. MCFL’s mission is to provide welcoming, equitable and inclusive opportunities for all to connect, learn and explore.
Marin County Free Library includes 10 library branches:
Bolinas Library, Civic Center Library, Corte Madera Library, Fairfax Library, Inverness Library, Marin City Library, Novato Library, Point Reyes Library, South Novato Library, and Stinson Beach Library.
The Library operates 2 mobile vehicles - the Bookmobile and the Learning Bus mobile preschool, as well as the Anne T. Kent California Room local history room, a makerspace, and a variety of outreach services.
MCFL also offers a wide range of digital services, including free access to eBooks, audiobooks, digital magazines and newspapers, streaming movies, and online learning for all ages.
