MARIN CITY - SAUSALITO SCHOOL DISTRICT LIBRARIES
The Marin City Library partnered with Bayside Martin Luther King Jr. Academy, a TK-8 community school located in Marin City, to develop two new school libraries: The Phillips Drive Campus in Marin City (TK and 6th-8th grades) and the Nevada Street Campus (K-5th grades).
The Marin County Library Foundation provided seed funds to purchase books and continues to provide financial support. Marin City Library provides staff and manages all aspects of both school libraries, including collection development, class visits, and after-school activities such as Reading Buddies, Smarty Ants, and STEAM programs.​
Your support will enable the purchase of new computers to support learning, cover the costs of staff time during the academic year, and expand the offerings of the Makerspace to include virtual reality equipment.​
