The Marin County Library Foundation supports the work of the Marin County Free Library's local history room, the Anne T. Kent California Room. The California Room is an archive dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting information on local, regional, and state history with a strong emphasis on the history and culture of Marin County. It seeks to document the full diversity of voices and cultures that have shaped our community, and to provide full public access to its primary source materials through its digital archive and onsite collections.
